(Bangkok, May 16, 2025) – Vietjet Thailand and Dhurakij Bundit University (DPU) have officially signed a strategic agreement to advance aviation education and professional development in Thailand.

The signing ceremony was held at DPU’s main campus in Bangkok and was witnessed by senior executives, faculty members, and key stakeholders from both organizations.

This strategic partnership aims to strengthen collaboration between academia and the aviation industry through joint aviation training programs, internship opportunities, and shared use of modern training facilities, including simulation-based equipment. The initiative is designed to enhance students’ practical experience while supporting Viejet Thailand’s workforce development and operational training needs.

Alvin Liaw Tse Hou, Vice President Safety and Standard at Vietjet Thailand, stated, "This partnership is a meaningful step forward in developing a strong pipeline of aviation professionals who are equipped with both the technical skills and real-world insights needed in today’s fast-evolving aviation landscape. By collaborating with DPU, we’re not only investing in our future workforce but also reinforcing our commitment to the sustainable growth of Thailand’s aviation industry."

The agreement reflects Vietjet Thailand’s long-term commitment to cultivating local aviation talent and aligning educational opportunities with real-world industry standards. For DPU, the collaboration reinforces its strategic direction in producing graduates who are equipped with both academic knowledge and practical competencies, ready to meet the needs of the aviation sector.

This initiative contributes to Thailand’s national strategy for workforce readiness in the Thai aviation and logistics industries and sets a strong precedent for future cooperation between academia and the private sector.
