(Bangkok, March 17, 2025) – Reaffirming its commitment to environmental sustainability, Vietjet Thailand is set to continue its impactful ‘Fly Green Forest – Mangrove IIII’, the 4th consecutive event after the initiative started in 2024 under the Fly Green Fund project, with details on the location, date and time to be announced soon. This initiative supports Vietjet Thailand’s long-term goal of planting 500,000 trees within five years, marking a significant step toward a greener future. As part of the airline’s broader ‘Green Flight’ mission, it aims to drive sustainable development, promote eco-friendly operations, and cultivate a more environmentally conscious society for future generations.
Building on last year’s success, this year’s event will unite students, passengers, airline members, and staff to plant mangrove trees in a designated conservation area. This initiative highlights Vietjet Thailand’s continued commitment to restoring vital ecosystems, preserving Thailand’s natural resources, and fostering greater community involvement in environmental conservation.
Beyond tree planting, a portion of the funds raised will be donated to the Chaipattana Foundation, reinforcing the airline’s commitment to supporting sustainable development projects and social assistance efforts.
Young Ambassadors—youth representatives passionate about environmental conservation—will also join the event to learn, engage, and advocate for nature preservation. Vietjet Thailand aims to involve 500 Young Ambassadors in its environmental initiatives over the next five years, further fostering a culture of sustainability among the younger generation.

Vietjet Thailand has been a frontrunner in sustainability, making significant strides in environmental initiatives. Last year, the airline introduced Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) to cut carbon emissions, strengthening its commitment to a greener future. Beyond its eco-friendly operations, Vietjet promotes projects like the '1 Staff 1 Tree' initiative, encouraging employees to plant trees in office spaces, and fostering a sustainable workplace. The airline also supports reforestation through initiatives such as 'Fly Green Metro Forest' and 'Fly Green – Mangrove Forest' under the Fly Green Fund, further contributing to environmental conservation.
Through collaborations with the Chaipattana Foundation, Young Ambassadors, government agencies, private sectors, educational institutions, and local communities, Vietjet Thailand will continue to lead sustainability efforts within the aviation industry.
