(Bangkok, June 12, 2025) – Vietjet Thailand brought environmental awareness to life through its ‘Fly Green Forest FieldWork’ initiative on Samae San Island, Chonburi, during June 5 – 6, 2025—a two-day experiential learning journey that united youth, educators, airline members, and local communities in the spirit of sustainability.
The event reflected Vietjet Thailand’s strong dedication to environmental responsibility. Participants included the airline’s Young Ambassadors, students and teachers from Rajaprajanugroh 24 Phayao School, and the airline’s community engagement team. Together, they took part in meaningful, hands-on activities aimed at deepening their connection with nature and inspiring long-term eco-conscious action.
Rooted in the airline’s Fly Green Fund (launched in 2021), the program blended outdoor exploration with education. Participants experienced the island’s marine environment through snorkeling, kayaking, and a beach clean-up as part of the airline’s 18th Garbage Hunters initiative—learning firsthand about biodiversity and the importance of preserving natural ecosystems.
The itinerary also included educational visits to the Thai Island and Sea Natural History Museum, the HTMS Chakri Naruebet aircraft carrier, and the Royal Thai Navy Sea Turtle Conservation Center—giving participants a broader understanding of marine conservation and the role they can play in protecting endangered species.

“This trip is more than just an experience—it’s about shaping the future. When young people connect with nature firsthand, they don’t just learn—they feel a responsibility to protect it. They leave inspired, but more importantly, ready to take real action. Vietjet Thailand’s commitment goes beyond environmental activities. We recently announced our ‘Green Route’ project, adding more flights powered by Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) starting in Q3 2025. It’s our way of making sure every journey helps protect the world we all share,” said Mr. Woranate Laprabang, Chief Executive Officer of Vietjet Thailand.
The success of the Fly Green Forest FieldWork highlights Vietjet Thailand’s ongoing mission to weave sustainability into every part of its journey, from flight operations to community outreach. This initiative stands as a model for how corporations can lead impactful environmental programs that resonate across generations.
This is just one part of Vietjet Thailand’s ongoing commitment to sustainability, as the airline continues to launch initiatives that protect our world, one meaningful step at a time.
