Bangkok, 29 January 2026 – Vietjet Thailand has officially launched its first international commercial service operated by the new-generation Boeing 737-8, bringing travellers a more comfortable, efficient, and sustainable flying experience on the Bangkok–Nha Trang route. The launch marks a key milestone in the airline’s fleet modernisation and the expansion of its Green Routes strategy, designed to offer passengers greater choice for the environment. The Bangkok–Nha Trang service operates daily, with flights departing Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) at 11:40 hrs. and arriving at Cam Ranh International Airport (CXR) at 13:30 hrs. Return flights depart Nha Trang at 14:20 hrs. and arrive in Bangkok at 16:25 hrs. (local times).

The fleet expansion programme of 50 Boeing 737-8 aircraft enables the airline to increase capacity, enhance flight frequencies, and support the launch of new medium-haul routes across key regional markets, delivering a more seamless end-to-end travel experience for passengers through greater choice, improved schedule flexibility, and continued affordability.”
To celebrate the launch of the new Bangkok–Nha Trang route, Vietjet Thailand is offering a special promotional fare starting from just THB 199 (excluding taxes and fees; terms and conditions apply). The promotion is open for booking until 31 January 2026, with travel valid between 16 February and 30 November 2026, allowing passengers to plan both short getaways and longer holidays throughout the year.
Operated by the 189-seat Boeing 737-8, the route increases capacity to meet rising travel demand, supporting the continued growth of tourism and business travel between Thailand and Vietnam while enhancing seamless two-way connectivity. At the same time, the deployment of this new-generation aircraft enhances the passenger experience, offering a quieter, more spacious cabin with improved fuel efficiency and enhanced onboard comfort. The aircraft features the Boeing Sky Interior, with modern ambient lighting and larger overhead bins, delivering a more relaxed and enjoyable journey.
The deployment of the Boeing 737-8 on the Bangkok–Nha Trang route aligns with Vietjet Thailand’s Green Route expansion strategy, as the aircraft is fully compatible with the use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). The Bangkok–Nha Trang service is designated as a Green Route, with SAF utilised on every flight, marking a significant milestone in the airline’s sustainability journey and its commitment to increasing SAF usage to at least 5% of total fuel consumption by 2030.
Following the launch the launch of Bangkok – Nha Trang service, Vietjet Thailand will continue expanding its international network by Boeing 737-8 aircraft on new routes, including Bangkok–Tokyo and Bangkok–Osaka, launching in the 1st week of February, as well as direct services to key destinations in South Korea and China in early 2026.
