(Bangkok, February 26, 2025) – Vietjet Thailand, in partnership with Bangkok Aviation Center (BAC), has officially launched the Vietjet Thailand Student Pilot Program, an initiative designed to develop the next generation of skilled local aviation professionals.
The launch event, held at the Bangkok Aviation Center, was welcomed by an inspiring speech from Mr. Woranate Laprabang, Chief Executive Officer of Vietjet Thailand, who highlighted the importance of this collaboration and emphasized Vietjet Thailand’s commitment to empowering local talents and the airline’s integral role in the development of Thailand's aviation industry.

A defining moment of the event was the formal signing of the Student Pilot Agreement, where 21 cadet pilots were officially signed, symbolizing the shared commitment of both organizations to nurturing the skills and expertise needed to shape the future of aviation professionals.
The Vietjet Thailand Student Pilot Program offers an all-encompassing training experience, including mentorship, that will equip participants with the essential skills, knowledge, and practical experience needed to thrive in the aviation sector. This initiative reflects Vietjet Thailand’s ongoing dedication to strengthening Thailand's aviation infrastructure while empowering its workforce.
As part of its expansion strategy, Vietjet Thailand plans to recruit 40 Thai pilots by the second quarter of 2025, underscoring the airline’s focus on providing meaningful career opportunities for Thai professionals and enhancing the local aviation industry. The airline remains steadfast in prioritizing local talent in its recruitment efforts, with the goal of building a sustainable workforce to fuel its continued growth on the global stage.
