Bangkok, August 25, 2025 – Vietjet Thailand proudly joined the official press conference for SX Sustainability Expo 2025, ASEAN’s largest sustainability exposition, reaffirming its strong commitment to driving sustainability in Thailand’s aviation sector and beyond. The press conference, held on August 25, 2025, at Sirikij Convention Hall, served as a prelude to the main expo, which will take place from 26 September to 5 October 2025.
Representing Vietjet Thailand, Ms. Sayada Benjakul, Vice President of Corporate Affairs, shared the airline’s vision and long-term dedication to environmental and social responsibility.
“The Fly Green Fund was established to pool resources and foster collaboration among diverse stakeholders, including local communities, government agencies, private organizations, students, our staff, and passengers, encouraging everyone to take part in meaningful sustainability actions. Through this initiative, we aim to create real impact and long-lasting change” said Ms. Sayada.
Launched in 2021, the Fly Green Fund has been at the heart of Vietjet Thailand’s sustainability journey. Through this initiative, the airline has introduced a series of impactful activities, from the Garbage Hunter project, which has collected tons of waste, to large-scale mangrove restoration efforts, which saw more than 70,000 trees planted this year alone. The airline has also organized charity initiatives, including concerts that donated 100% of proceeds to good causes and a charity run that drew over 1,500 participants in support of environmental efforts.
At SX EXPO 2025, Vietjet Thailand presents a special exhibition in the Main Exhibition Zone, highlighting these sustainability activities and achievements under the Fly Green Fund. Visitors will also have the opportunity to experience Vietjet’s signature meals and in-flight products in the Food Zone, bringing the airline’s unique brand experience directly to the expo floor.

Ms. Sayada also highlighted the broader impact of SX EXPO 2025, “This expo is not only a showcase of environmental initiatives but also an inspiration for younger generations to take action. Building a sustainable future cannot be achieved by one organization alone—it requires collaboration across sectors and generations. Vietjet Thailand is committed to playing its part, from the skies to the seas, supporting communities and ecosystems to ensure meaningful change.”
