(Bangkok, June 2, 2025)
– Reinforcing its commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship, Vietjet Thailand will host the ‘Fly Green Forest FieldWork’ initiative from June 5–6, 2025, on Samae San Island, Chonburi. This hands-on program brings together Vietjet Thailand’s Young Ambassadors, students and teachers from Rajaprajanugroh 24 Phayao School, and our community engagement team to engage in impactful environmental activities and promote sustainable living.

Originating from Vietjet Thailand’s Fly Green Fund, launched in 2021, this initiative aims to inspire young minds through experiential learning and to foster a deep connection with nature and conservation efforts.

Over two days, participants will take part in snorkeling, kayaking, glass-bottom boat tours, and beach clean-ups along the pristine coastline, part of the airline’s 18th Garbage Hunters initiative. The program also includes the visit to the Thai Island and Sea Natural History Museum, HTMS Chakri Naruebet, Thailand’s first aircraft carrier, and the Royal Thai Navy Sea Turtle Conservation Center, offering valuable insights into marine biodiversity and endangered species protection.

‘Fly Green Forest FieldWork’ is more than an outdoor excursion—it’s a transformative journey that turns awareness into action, cultivating environmental responsibility among future generations.

“At Vietjet Thailand, we believe that sustainability begins with awareness and grows through responsibility. Through Fly Green Forest FieldWork, we aim to provide youth with firsthand experiences that encourage them to care for the planet not only in thought, but in action. This initiative is part of our long-term commitment to environmental protection and sustainable development,” said Mr. Woranate Laprabang, Chief Executive Officer of Vietjet Thailand.

As a green airline, Vietjet Thailand continues to champion sustainability through impactful programs that engage both local communities and the next generation of leaders. Fly Green Forest FieldWork reflects the airline’s broader mission to foster environmental awareness, promote preservation, and encourage responsibility for the planet’s future.
