Vietjet's growth continues to soar with the arrival of its 102nd aircraft and the launch of its 5th international route in just one month

(Ho Chi Minh City, December 25, 2023) – Vietjet remains steadfast in its commitment to expand its fleet and flight network. Recently, the airline proudly welcomed the delivery of a state-of-the-art Airbus 321neo ACF aircraft, which marks the addition of the 102nd aircraft to its modern and youthful fleet. Simultaneously, Vietjet celebrated the launch of a new route connecting Hanoi, Vietnam's capital city, to the vibrant metropolis of Hong Kong, the 5th international route launched in December 2023.
The arrival of this new aircraft and the initiation of the Hanoi-Hong Kong route align perfectly with Vietjet's anniversary celebration of its inaugural flight on December 24, 2011. The timing also coincides with the festive spirit of Christmas, amplifying the joyous atmosphere.

The A321neo ACF aircraft, with livery of Vietnamese national flag, arrived at Tan Son Nhat International Airport on December 22, 2023. The airline will put this new aircraft into operation immediately to serve passengers on its various routes covering Vietnam and international destinations.
Vietjet has been the first airline worldwide to operate the new A321neo ACF 240-seat since its inception in 2019. The A321neo ACF helps reduce fuel consumption by up to 20%, noise emissions by up to 75%, and environmental emissions by up to 50%.

The airline has launched back-to-back new international services including the Shanghai – Ho Chi Minh City, Phu Quoc – Busan, Hanoi – Jakarta, Hanoi – Siem Reap, and most recently the Hanoi – Hong Kong route, emphasizing the airline’s fleet and flight network expansion strategy across the Asia Pacific region.
The thrice-weekly service Hanoi – Hong Kong operates every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, increasing the Vietnam – Hong Kong flight network of Vietjet to four direct services. The Ho Chi Minh City – Hong Kong, Da Nang – Hong Kong and Phu Quoc – Hong Kong routes will be increased to daily services from February onwards.
