Baggage

1. Carry-On Baggage:

    Each passenger is allowed to carry on board two (2) pieces of cabin baggage comprising either: 

  • Cabin baggage 1 piece, the dimensions MUST NOT exceed of 56cm (H) X 36cm (W) X 23cm (D) and MUST FIT in the overhead storage compartment in the aircraft cabin.
  • One (1) Laptop bag or one (1) handbag or one (1) small bag, MUST FIT under the seat in front of you.

The total weight of both pieces must not exceed 7kg.

2. Standard Checked Baggage:

Each piece of checked baggage must not exceed 119 cm x 119 cm x 81 cm and weight not more than 32 kg. 

 

 

3. Oversized Checked Baggage:

  • Oversized checked baggage is any checked baggage item that exceeds the standard dimensions and any dimensions do not exceed to (High x Wide x Depth or Length) 203 cm. with the weight of oversized checked baggage must not be over 32 Kg per piece.
  • Golf club set with The total dimension (length + width + height) of each piece does not exceed 203cm considered as Normal Checked baggage.
  • Passenger who Pre-booked oversized baggage package service is allowed to check in baggage with a total weight corresponding to the purchased package, including 1 oversize baggage piece per passenger per package.
  • Each passenger is allowed to check in a maximum of 2 oversized baggage pieces/sector.
  • Passengers who pre-book the oversized baggage need to check additional oversized baggage pieces. Needs to pay "Airport-rate’s Oversized Baggage Handling Fee" for the second piece at counter check-in. Check for oversized baggage fee CLICK
  • In case of passenger has purchased an Oversized Baggage Package but the dimension is not exceeding the dimensions and does not match the type of Oversized Baggage as prescribed in the regulation, the passenger can check in as Standard Checked Baggage. However, the oversized baggage fee will not be refunded. Please check the oversized baggage type and regulations below.

3.1 The Type of Sports Equipment accepted as Oversized Baggage

 

Sport Equipment Equipment Acceptable Conditions
Golf Set
  • Size: Total dimensions of exceeding (High x Wide x Depth/Length) 203 CM
  • Total dimension of each piece not exceeding 203 cm is considered normal check baggage.
  • Weight: A number of pieces are allowed with a combined weight not exceeding the pre-booked weight or at the airport rate. Each piece must not exceed 32 Kg.
  • One golf set includes on golf bag containing maximum of 14 golf clubs, 12 golf balls, and T-shaped devices.
  • Equipment other than above-mentioned items shall not be regarded as golf set.
Surfboard
  • Size: Dimensions not exceed to (High x Width x Depth/Length) 203 CM
  • Weight: A number of pieces are allowed with a combined weight not exceeding the pre-booked weight or at the airport rate. Each piece must not exceed 32 Kg.
  • Must be packed in a recognized surfboard bag.
Bicycle
  • Size: Dimensions not exceed to (High x Width x Depth/Length) 203 CM
  • Weight: A number of pieces are allowed with a combined weight not exceeding the pre-booked weight or at the airport rate. Each piece must not exceed 32 Kg.
  • The tires must be flattened before being packed.
  • The bike must be packed in a box or Bike Case.
  • TVJ refuses to carriage powered bikes (operated by thermo-battery or electric-battery etc.,) as checked baggage.
Scuba Diving*
  • Size: Dimensions not exceed to (High x Width x Depth/Length) 203 CM
  • Weight: A number of pieces are allowed with a combined weight not exceeding the pre-booked weight or at the airport rate. Each piece must not exceed 32 Kg.
  • A scuba diving equipment set includes a scuba cloth, a breathing tube, a pair of screws, and a diving mask. The equipment belongs to the dangerous goods group (For example: pressure gauge, scuba, etc.) needs to pack in a recognized kit bag together with;
    • One scuba regulator
    • Tank harness
    • Tank pressure gauge*
    • Face mask
    • A pair of fins
    • Dive suit/vest
    • Buoyancy control device (BCD)
    • Snorkel and Weight belt and cylinder tank
SKI / Snowboard Equipment
  • Size: Dimensions not exceed to (High x Width x Depth/Length) 203 CM
  • Weight: A number of pieces are allowed with a combined weight not exceeding the pre-booked weight or at the airport rate. Each piece must not exceed 32 Kg.
  • Must be packed in a recognized ski and or snowboard bag.
  • Can be packed together with one pair of skis, poles, and boots OR one snowboard and boots.

 

*Diving Equipment & Diving Tank:

A. Please note that authority from Officer on Duty must be obtained prior to acceptance of carriage.

B. High-intensity diving lamps and normal portable diving lamps (torch lights) which contain rechargeable lead acid batteries, spillable or non-spillable will not be accepted on board our aircraft as check-in nor as hand baggage as it comes under Dangerous Goods Regulation.

C. MUST NOT CONTAIN ANY AIR, AND THE TANK VALVE MUST BE FULLY OPENED otherwise, it becomes a dangerous and prohibited item.

3.2 The Large Music Instrument accepted as Oversized Baggage

  • Passengers have options to select to purchase oversize baggage package for checked large musical instruments OR purchase an extra seat to accommodate it on board.
  • Size: Dimensions not exceed to (High x Width x Depth/Length) 203 CM
  • Weight: A number of pieces are allowed with a combined weight not exceeding the pre-booked weight or at the airport rate. Each piece must not exceed 32 Kg.
  • Must be packed in a strong box or hard case.
  • In case of purchase of Extra Seat** to be brought musical instruments on board, the size must not exceed 165 x 44 x 66 cm and the weight must not exceed 75 kg.

3.3 The Bulky Item accepted as Oversized Baggage

Bulky Items such as LCD TV, Computer, Electronic Equipment, Handicrafts, etc. especially electronic and electrical items can only be accepted if it is packed in a manufacturer’s packaging i.e. original packing, and must be placed in a box and tagged under LIMITED RELEASE TAG with fragile stickers.

  • Size: Dimensions not exceed to (High x Width x Depth/Length) 203 CM
  • Weight: A number of pieces are allowed with a combined weight not exceeding the pre-booked weight or at the airport rate. Each piece must not exceed 32 Kg.

 

4. Baggage that is not permitted onboard:

We reserve the right to refuse to carry buggage. If these items are found in your luggage

  • Objects that are not packed in bags or other containers Suitable for safe travel
  • Objects that may be harmful to airplanes, persons, or property onboard such as objects specified in the regulations for dangerous goods Of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and the conditions of travel and conditions in our contract
  • Prohibited objects for carriage under the law. Governing regulations Or the order of the country in which you travel At arrival Or to travel through
    Unsuitable baggage Due to its weight, size, shape or appearance
  • Objects that are easily broken or perishable
  • Live or inanimate animals
  • Remains of a human or animal : We will allow you onboard, which must be a checked baggage or hand-in baggage. Which must be carefully packed in vacuum containers Must have a death certificate and a quarantine certificate to prevent infection
  • Foods with strong odors (such as durian, jackfruit, fish sauce etc.)
  • Fresh or frozen seafood Or other meat that may be carried onboard as checked baggage Unless showing satisfactory to the airline that Packaged Already In a foam box and / or a cold storage box containing dried food or non-perishable food The airline will allow registration. Baggage after being inspected by the relevant department If the passenger refuses to check We have the right to refuse to accept the said luggage.

  • Weapons such as ancient pistols, swords, knives, hoses, wires, electric baton, electric gloves, grenades, tear gas, tear gas guns, gas guns that cause hypoxia, climb poisonous gas, chloroform guns Plastic ammunition gun Rubber ammunition gun Laser gun Nail gun Electromagnetic gun Firework gun Firework Metal shackle Plastic shackle And similar objects
  • The items contain air or gas, such as rugby balls, footballs, beach balls, bicycle tires and etc., shall be deflated prior to being transported on the aircraft.

5. Baggage that is not allowed for registration:

You cannot register property as baggage that must be registered. And you have to take the risk that may occur to the said assets if you Send the said property As checked luggage Such assets include money, precious stones, precious stones, silverware, computers, electronic devices. Documents that can be exchanged for money Securities or other valuables Business documents passport And other identification documents Or other things of similar nature by Substances must be signed by consent. In the document limiting the liability of the airline When checking in at the counter to show consent, do not make any claims to the airline.

6. Right to search:

For security and security reasons The airline may ask you to undergo a search, x-ray or scan by other means to inspect you or your baggage. We reserve the right to search your baggage while you are not there to check if your baggage contains unacceptable or prohibited items. If you refuse to comply with such searches or scans The airline reserves the right to not allow you and your baggage to board. 7. Checked baggage:

When you bring luggage to register for travel confirmation. The baggage will be handled by the airline. Which the airline will issue luggage tags For each piece of luggage Already registered Checked baggage must have your name or other identities securely attached. The checked baggage will be carried along with your flight. Unless the airline has chosen to carry the luggage on another flight for safety, security or operational reasons. If your registered baggage is loaded on the next flight We will return the luggage to you within a reasonable time once the flight has arrived. (Unless applicable law requires you to come to present to receive baggage to the customs authorities)
